THE ROAD THAT BROUGHT US HERE

January, (2008–2020)

Origins and foundation

Acquisition of the La Cabaña farm and initial development of specialty coffee crops, with the introduction of the Castillo Rosario and Geisha varieties. In 2020, the La Cabaña Coffee Factory brand was founded and processing machinery was acquired.

September, (2021–2022)

Productive and technological consolidation

Threshers and the first Penagos roaster are added, marking a leap towards total control of the production process. In 2022, the brand adopts the name ISVAR Coffee Factory and makes its first export to India.

June (2023–2024)

Agricultural and commercial expansion

The crop is expanded with an additional 2 hectares and new varieties such as Bourbon Rosé. In 2024, ISVAR obtains Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification, guaranteeing quality and sustainability.

future (2026)

Projection and growth

The farm plans to plant 7,000 new Geisha and Bourbon Rosado coffee plants, doubling its production and consolidating its position as Ecuador's luxury coffee.

FROM A FAMILY FARM TO AN INTERNATIONAL BRAND

Since acquiring La Cabaña in 2008, we knew we were cultivating more than just coffee: we were planting a legacy. That vision led us to establish our own factory and acquire specialized machinery in 2020, but it was in 2022 that we truly found our identity as ISVAR Coffee Factory. Every expansion of our plantation, every new variety like Bourbon Rosado, every Good Agricultural Practices certification has been a conscious step toward excellence. Today, as we plan to plant 7,000 new plants by 2026, we see how that initial dream has transformed into a reality that transcends borders, always true to our essence: Ecuadorian coffee of the highest quality, cultivated with respect and shared with pride.
